Arranged

Rochel, an orthodox Jew, and Nasira, a Muslim, both start jobs at a New York state school. Both are also looking for a man through the process of an arranged marriage. The film tells the story of two young women who realize how much they have in common.

Afterwards there will be an audience discussion with Bayan Anouz, student and lecturer in educational sciences and speaker in the field of diversity and criticism of racism, together with the hakOLnoa team.

Rochel, eine orthodoxe Jüdin, und Nasira, eine Muslima, fangen beide ihre Stelle an einer staatlichen Schule in New York an. Beide suchen auch einen Mann durch den Prozess einer arrangierten Ehe. Der Film erzählt die Geschichte von zwei jungen Frauen, die merken, wie viel sie gemeinsam haben.
